  Edward M. Yokley, Ph.D. President  
    Dr. Yokley received his B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University in 1969, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Indiana University in 1973, and a M.S. in Management from the Sloan School at MIT in 1983.

 

Dr. Yokley has worked for Dow Chemical, Polaroid Corporation, Hoechst Celanese and Security Plastics, Inc. before working in startup companies then SAIC During this time he developed technology for:
  • Catalytic Destruction of Chemical Warfare Agents
  • Systemic Antiviral and Antidepressant Agents
  • Photographic Coatings, Pigment Dispersions and Specialty Chemicals
  • Materials for Optical Devices
  • Cosmetic Chemicals, and Semiconductor Processing Supplies leading to more than a dozen product manufacturing startups. 

He has also had positions in Market Development, Marketing and Sales Management and Business Strategy Development.Dr. Yokley is the holder of 10 US patents spanning applications from Antidepressants to Holography to Polishing Materials for Semiconductor Processing.

Dr. Yokley is a member of the American Chemical Society, where he served as 2007 Chair for the Division of Business Development and Management, and the National Organization for Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.

Dr. Obeng received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 1983, a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from University of Miami in 1988, and a MBA from the Crummer School of Business, Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida 1996.  He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin from 1989 to 1991.

Dr. Obeng has worked for AT&T / Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories, Agere Systems before co-founding psiloQuest, Inc.  He subsequently worked for Texas Instruments and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). 

During this time he developed and transferred into production various technologies for Semiconductor Processing. Dr. Obeng is the holder over 50 US and International patents, and has co-authored over 100 technical publications.

Dr. Obeng is a Charted Chemist (C.Chem) of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a member of the American Chemical Society, the National Organization for Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers, the Electrochemical Society and the Material Research Society (MRS)
